A RECENT AQUISITIONE:
In September 2007, Rent-A -Port acquired 100% of the shares of IPEM (International Port Engineering and Management). The 2 companies are now based in the heart of the City of Antwerp in Central Europe
IPEM was founded in 1994 with a capital of € 4.486.873. In 1999 the capital was raised to € 9.000.000.The current shareholders of Rent-A-Port and IPEM are:
- AVH (Ackermans & van Haaren) A publicly listed industrial holding of Antwerp specialised in logistics, real estate, banking, services etc...
- CFE, the largest civil engineering group and construction services company in Belgium, specialising in real estate, in quarrying and in a wide range of concrete batching operations. CFE has carried out a number of service contracts for the mining industry, both in Belgium and on an international scale.
- The third stakeholder is Rent-A-Port's management with a 10% share.
