Vietnam’s largest chemical and dangerous goods warehouse opened in DEEP C
Haiphong, 30 October 2020 - Initially joining DEEP C Haiphong I (Dinh Vu Industrial Zone) as a container yard and related services supplier, MVG Dinh Vu has added a new business line to their product portfolio: chemical and dangerous goods (DG) warehouse.
A grand opening ceremony was held in MVG Dinh Vu Co., Ltd. today to kick-start the operation of the new warehouse. The raised-floor warehouse, with a total floor space of 5,400m2, is Vietnam’s most spacious DG warehouse. With huge capacity racking system and top brand lifting machines, conformity to the regulation of fire-fighting and prevention as well as chemical incident responses plan, MVG’s DG warehouse is ready to provide a range of handling and storage services for general cargo, chemical products, and other dangerous goods.
Being in the largest petrochemical cluster in North Vietnam gives MVG a lot of confidence and competitive advantage to step into chemical logistics industry. Located in the petrochemical cluster of DEEP C Haiphong I (Dinh Vu Industrial Zone), adjacent to the Port of Haiphong in northern Vietnam, the warehouse offers easy access to a broad transport network, including the deep-water port at Lach Huyen, the Hanoi-Haiphong expressway, and Cat Bi International Airport.
MVG Dinh Vu Co.,Ltd is a joint venture company established in 2014 by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd, a Japanese group and Vietnam partners, Vietnam Seaport Service and Investment JSC, Construction and Mechanic JSC, Golden Link JSC. Since its foundation, MVG has offered services centering on the container depot business with two depots in Hai Phong city. To meet the growth of chemical logistics services in Vietnam, MVG has built a chemical warehouse in DEEP C Haiphong I Industrial Zone of Hai Phong city from May 2020 to Oct 2020.
